Heather was born in the Bay Area, but spent most of her time growing up in Dallas. She studied art history in Massachusetts and Paris, and then moved to New York to design clothes (but mainly ended up designing shoes). She moved to Los Angeles in 2006 for a bit of sunshine and is still adjusting to the culture shock, but generally likes it.
