Pe parcursul anului care s-a incheiat , ,,Electro Star” a continuat sa produca o sumedenie de albume, cateva dintre acestea fiind lansate in cadrul unor grandioase spectacole organizate la Hotel Trotus si prezentate de Octavian Ursulescu.Printre cei care au facut inregistrari la Onesti se numara si mai multi artisti din strainatate :Italia,Olanda sau Irlanda.Directorul si Patronul Casei de discuri din Onesti,profesorul Eugen Ungureanu, a continuat si el sa compuna muzica pentru copii, dar nu numai, iar piesele sale au fost premiate la cele mai importante festivaluri nationale si internationale.Copii veniti de prin toate colturile tarii s-au pregatit foarte bine, in cadrul scolii de muzica de la ,,Electro Star” mai ales cu DJ Lili(Liliana Ungureanu) iar ,,Clubul Star Musik”, care include elitele din Romania, s-a extins in permanenta prin cooptarea unor noi membri.

Eugen Ungureanu este fara indoiala un artist complet. Pe langa faptul ca este producator artistic si conduce deja binecunoscuta Casa de Productie Electro Star, stie foarte bine sa se puna si in postura de artist interpret sau DJ la petrecerile unde este invitat. Contactandu-l am constatat ca agenda sa este foarte incarcata si rar reuseste cineva sa-l angajeze pentru un spectacol orasenesc, nunta sau botez daca nu i se adreseaza cu cel putin cateva luni inainte de eveniment. L-am cunoscut ca un om cu un caracter puternic dar in acelasi timp altruist si pus pe distractie. Stie sa faca antren si sa echilibreze muzica pentru tineri cu cea a invitatilor de varsta a doua, este permanent pregatit sa ofere muzica de cea mai buna calitate, veche si noua(abia aparuta pe MTV sau Kiss TV) dar sa si dozeze atmosfera de la ambianta tip café pana la nemuritoarea noastra muzica populara, in asa fel, incat, pur si simplu oamenii sar de la masa pentru a nu rata un anume program muzical. The sun is gracing us with its presence warming our little cold hearts. Spring is here and summer is approaching.With that are the many summer music festivals Australia is known for. With so many to choose from the question does come up, do you go for the music or for the atmosphere? Now many a hipster kid will tell you you should only go for the indie bands and to support local talent rah rah rah.... I on the other hand am stuck in between. Lets be honest these festivals don't come cheap some over $150, so the choice is quite vital to us who do not have it to spare. I love going to a good music fest like Homebake.... ok I am a self proclaimed Homebake Queen although I have only attended a few. Simply because the atmosphere is amazing. It is smaller than other festivals, the bands are all homegrown so YAY OZ! but more to the point I think that it is one of the main events in my year- Regardless of who's on the bill. Although i love my music it is an event that I would attend even if... In the name of Music.... at 2threads

Dear Diary,
Today I washed my hair…. Now it gets blown in my face…. I hate wind… I also hate this heat…. I don’t do heat… well at least the sun heat…. It’s a well known fact that red heads are flame resistant… it’s one of the only good facets of this genetic defect which is red hair…. But that doesn’t mean you can go out and set hundreds of random fanta pants on fire…. I don’t want that on my conscious.

NEWS FLASH: “this just in, there has been wide spread reports… well at least two reports of innocent folk of the red head variety that have been set on fire for no apparent reason…. When questioned by police the assailants claimed to have been told that red heads have a natural resistance to fire on a blog and “just wanted to fucking try it out!” Doctors don’t hold much hope for the two men who are now red headed and red skinned abomina... Dear Diary,
Day something of this tour…. My mind is willing but my body is weak…. Or is it the other way round…. Ive had the same amount of sleep as a polygamous dude with 5 wives…. And all of them have babies under a year and a half…. Ilene even has twins… and they do not stop crying!!! Going back…. Back….. back….. to Friday… it seems like it was so long ago… like a week ago n shit…. On Friday like a week n shit ago we played at the Hi Fi Bar in Melbourne… I love that place but the stairs getting down is a bitch to lug gear down…. Show was awesome…. Everything in my memory right now is awesome… Scott an I played horns when the Vasco Era covered Sukkafish… was so much fun…. Like swingset fun… I do love a good swingset…. Selby & Friends’ final 2008 concert closes the year with an enigmatic work composed by a woman and performed by three accomplished women!

Hats are off to polished women performers and composers in TRIOZ’s final concert on Thursday 30 October at 7pm as part of the Selby & Friends final performance for 2008 at City Recital Hall Angel Place.

TRIOZ founder, Kathryn Selby called this concert ‘One & Only’ because all the works programmed are the sole works for piano trio composed by their authors, Faure, Clarke and Tchaikovsky.

Rebecca Clarke, an English-born American, composed her trio in her youth in 1921. This famous work is strong, romantic and poses enormous technical difficulties for each instrument.

Along with Fauré’s beautiful and impressionistic Piano Trio, Tchaikovsky’s only piano trio creates a well-rounded balance to the program.

Dear Diary,
Sometimes late at night when I’m alone writing to you I like to think that I’m writing a book….. is that weird?? I had the best night sleep last night….. like 9 hours… it was amazing!!! Yet still I feel like shit…. Is that bad… meh.. I’m cool with it.

We played in woolonggngnong… I think that’s how you spell it… I thought it was a good show… the crowd was fairly small at the start but it swelled to massive (kinda big) proportions by the end of the set and when we played the last song (evolution) peeps were bopping and moving n whatnot… when the vasco era played Sukkafish two thirds of the band joined them… me an scott played horns, ross hit shit with sticks and luke played ambient guitar… by the end of the tour we’re aiming to have a 17 piece orchestra with us… well I am at least… I think the idea will fail like most half assed ide... woolonggngnong, Channel V and more at 2threads
